What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise your device and remember certain information, for example your consent choices.
Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixel trackers or analytics scripts, work in a comparable way or collect information about your visit without storing a cookie. In this policy, the term "cookies" covers all of these technologies.
Cookies can be:
- First-party cookies, set by the website you are visiting, or third-party cookies, set by another provider.
- Session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period.
How we use cookies
Our website presents our products to business customers, and we keep the use of cookies and similar technologies to a minimum.
We use:
- Necessary technologies, which are required for the operation of our website and do not require your consent,
- Statistics technologies, which help us understand how our website is used and are only activated if you give your consent, and
- Marketing technologies, which are only used to display an embedded map from Google Maps and are only activated if you give your consent.
We do not use advertising cookies ourselves, and we do not track you across other websites.
Cookie categories
Our consent banner is structured into four categories. The table below shows which of them are currently in use on our website:
| Category | Purpose | In use |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Enable core functions of the website, such as storing your consent choice. The website cannot function properly without them. | Yes |
| Preferences | Remember settings that change how the website behaves or looks. | No |
| Statistics | Help us understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited most often. | Yes – only with your consent |
| Marketing | Track visitors across websites to display relevant advertising. | Yes – only Google Maps, only with your consent |
Necessary technologies
Consent management (Cookiebot)
To manage your cookie consent, we use Cookiebot, a consent management platform provided by Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark.
To display the consent banner in the correct language and version for your region, Cookiebot processes your IP address, browser language and browser information. This data is not retained after the banner has been displayed.
When you make a choice in our consent banner, Cookiebot records your consent as proof. The following data is logged:
- your IP address in anonymised form
- the date and time of your consent
- your browser's user agent
- the URL from which your consent was submitted
- an anonymous, random and encrypted consent key
- your consent choice
The consent key and your consent choice are also stored in the necessary cookie "CookieConsent" on your device for up to 12 months, so that we do not have to ask you again on every visit. Consent records are retained for one year.
Our consent banner automatically detects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends this signal, all non-essential technologies are declined by default. You can still actively give your consent via the consent banner.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR (our legal obligation to demonstrate consent).

Marketing technologies (only with your consent)
Google Maps
To show the location of our retail partner, our website displays a map from Google Maps, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The map is only loaded if you consent to the "Marketing" category in our consent banner. Only then is a connection established to Google's servers, and data such as your IP address, browser information, the page visited and your interaction with the map are transferred to Google. Google may set its own cookies and may use the data for its own purposes, including advertising. We have no influence on this processing. Without your consent, a placeholder is shown instead of the map and no data is transferred to Google.
Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers are therefore based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent), in conjunction with the applicable national laws implementing Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via "Change your cookie settings".
The "Get directions" link opens Google Maps in a new tab. No data is transferred to Google until you click this link.
